Lebanese Diner: The Unique Concept Behind this Eatery Is Literally What Every Foodie’s Dreams Are Made of

There’s a new Lebanese eatery in town? Shut the front door! We’ve spent endless days devouring scrumptious Lebanese cuisine – all of it, from tabouleh to halloumi cheese and much more. So you can imagine how we reacted when a little bird told us that Lebanese Diner is bursting onto the cuisine scene here in Cairo — Al Guezira Plaza, to be specific.

Lebanese Diner is unlike anything you’ll ever experience, combining an urban diner-style setting with Lebanese fast food and modern urban influences, giving it a cozy yet hip vibe.

The concept was brought to life by a bunch of food lovers and their team of Lebanese F&B consultants with over five years of experience in the field. It was inspired by the authentic Lebanese sandwich street joints and grills, but with a contemporary urban twist. The brand and interior design were also done and executed by a full-fledged Lebanese team with the slogan ‘From Beirut with Love‘.

By merging Lebanese street food culture into a diner setting and serving quality food with generous portions (YAAS KWEEN!) at competitive prices and top quality service, Lebanese Diner aims to give us a real taste of Beirut. It also appeals not just to the young and trendy crowd of Cairo and Sheikh Zayed, but also to everyone else as they are planning to expand all over Egypt.

Luckily, we had the chance to visit the diner to get to experience first hand the real taste of the Lebanese cuisine. In a square-like room with colorful tiles, is an open kitchen that allows for everyone to see the food being actually cooked by their one and only experienced chef.

The colorful graffiti hand-painted by one of the city’s top local artists on the diner’s wall plays off well with the colorful chairs and lamps, giving it an upbeat and contemporary vibe.

Each and every dish they have is done in the kitchen, all ingredients are locally sourced which emphasizes the authenticity of their food. Their food menu includes mouth-watering choices of starters and salads, whilst focusing more on sandwiches and grills; their authentic specialty items contain homemade spicy hummus, makanek, and soujuk. Furthermore, the menu will incorporate sandwiches such as basterma with halloum, fransisco, djeij and toum, to burgers which include their one-of-a-kind Lebanese burger; to grills like their super djeij msa7ab; kababs, tawouks and platters that are infused and inspired by the rich street flavor of Lebanese cultures.

In a sea over-flooded with basic Lebanese restaurants, it was quite refreshing to find one that has its own unique taste unlike any other in Egypt, as the menu was designed by their consulting chef — who has over 30 years of culinary experience on his hand. Additionally, the kitchen is run by a Lebanese chef with over 20 years of experience.

Did we also mention that they have a drinks menu, saturated with fresh juices and cocktails, as they are experienced on the streets of Lebanon? Their cocktail shoaf AKA fakhfakhina, which is a fusion of a number of fresh fruits is definitely a must have! And just to ensure that our beach bodies are forever gone, Lebanese Diner are giving us a dessert menu from heaven.

Their heavenly assortment of desserts contains a wide and variant array of sugary treats that are guaranteed to leave you feeling full and satisfied. From homemade achta rolls, to mhalabieh, to the authentic lazy cake which is found in almost every Lebanese household; as well as international comfort desserts like Nutella chocolate fondant and peanut butter chocolate chip cookie, among other delicious dishes.

WE SAID THIS: We can’t wait for you to enter the food coma that you will surely receive, upon trying out Lebanese Diner’s array of dishes.

Syrian Foods That Are Literally Impossible to Dislike

The civil war in Syria has caused millions of Syrians to flee their war-torn country. Images of men, women and children living in camps, walking vast distances and risking perilous journeys to safety are commonplace.

Syria has an ancient food culture and was once — believe it or not — a bread basket for the Middle East, but sadly, the conflict has since damaged agriculture and food supplies to many areas. In this article, I compile a list of my favorite Syrian foods that everyone should try at least once in their lives.

Konafa naboulsya will basically ruin all other desserts for you

A post shared by Quds News Network (@qudsn.en) on

Shawerma sag is arguably one of the most popular Syrian foods. A to’meya dip is a must when devouring this beauty

Sambosa labna, AKA samosa with cheese, comfortably sits on the Iron Throne of Side Dishes

As if normal konafa aren’t delicious enough! These konafa rolls are everything your belly wants and more

Manakeesh? Yes please

This is pretty much ma7shi, but a specific one with courgette, and it is heavenly

Because we can’t get enough of Konafa naboulsya, we’re putting it again on this list

WE SAID THIS: Thank you, Syrians.

12 Ice Cream Spots In Cairo That’ll Rule Summer 2017

When the hotter months start rolling in, I find myself craving less cookies and brownies and more ice cream. Perfect scoops of sweet refreshment to beat the hot weather; what’s not to love about ice cream once the weather starts to get warmer?

What I really love about ice cream eating is the huge array of flavors and colors you get to choose from to create the perfect cup or cone. The entire experience brings about so much joy.

So, taking advantage of my ice cream high, I searched the city high and low for the best scoop. I found that when it came to ice cream, Cairo was doing great in terms of variety and quality in general; the gelaterias here even almost rivaled the ones I tried in Rome.

I came to find that these spots specifically will never disappoint:

Sultana – multiple locations

10253835_794010407293326_2910680528486107891_n
Sultana’s flavors in general are all solid, but the star for me has always been the mango. Every time I’ve tried it (and that’s more than I’m proud to admit), it always tasted fresh, sweet and bursting with real mango flavor.

It tastes exactly like a delicious frozen mango juice would. Their waffle cone is also delicious, so make sure to get whatever you want in a cone.

Mandarine Koueider – multiple locations

10999794_952016104838826_7902328035633481669_n

The ultimate classic! Honestly, I wouldn’t go crazy for all of Koueider’s flavors, but their vanilla-chocolate-mix flavor alone makes it a top ice-cream destination.

If you want to try other flavors, I would advise to stick to the milk-based ones, as they are much better in texture and in flavor than the fruit-based.

Gelato Mio – Zamalek

gelato mio

This is by far the best texture of everything I’ve tasted, as it is maintained across their entire flavor board. You can’t go wrong with any coffee flavor in Gelato Mio. I’ve tried both their cappuccino and caramel macchiato flavors, and they both taste exactly like the drinks, if not better.

They also serve affogato, which is every coffee lover’s answer to drinking coffee in summer without having to sweat it all off. It is a shot of mocha espresso poured over a scoop of ice cream. Order it in and take nice slow sips; la dolce vita, indeed.

Bel Gelato – Heliopolis

10959001_358657630987654_4781556685827241864_n

I prefer having gelato over ice cream at any time of the day, so thank God that Bel Gelato came all the way from Italy in summer 2014. Gelato doesn’t get any more authentic than this.

If you happen to have tried Magnolia Bakery’s famous banana pudding, then you will absolutely love Bel Gelato’s banilla flavor (banana, vanilla and toffee). It’s basically the frozen version of the pudding (or a banoffee pie), with an ultra rich and creamy texture.

On the sorbet side, the strawberry mango flavor is a heavenly medley of spring and summer, with just the right balance of tang and sweet.

Also, don’t skip their panino gelato, which is a scoop of ice cream sandwiched in a bun drizzled with a heaping amount of Nutella. Be careful, though, as it is not for the faint hearted. They also serve their very own affogato.

Stavolta – Maadi

sta3

Oh, another gelateria! Thank you, Cairo. As with other gelaterias, the texture is incredibly on point. Go straight for their salted caramel flavor because, my oh my, is it delicious! It’s got the perfect amount of salt and the caramel flavor is deep enough.

Their tiramisu flavor is also the best one I’ve tasted in Cairo; very true to the famous Italian dessert. Their roses flavor is perfect if you’re craving a classic Turkish delight, or if you fancy something a bit obscure in general. And their dark chocolate flavor will satisfy any true chocoholic.

El Tag El Demesh2y – Rehab Souk

Strawberry ice-cream

(Joyosity/Flickr)

Let’s take a moment to thank God for Syrians and their food, shall we? Now, if you’re looking for the best texture, this isn’t the place for you. The flavors, on the other hand, are awesomely intense. Order a scoop of each the Raffaello (coconut, pistachio and white chocolate) flavor and the strawberry for the most deliciously refreshing spring treat.

Butcher’s Burger’s – Zamalek

17193_946744288691026_2317500223212576447_n

Yes, their burgers are awesome, but their fried ice cream alone is worth the trip all the way to Zamalek from wherever you live. Delicious vanilla ice cream oozes out once you cut open the sweet, hot crust enclosing the ice cream, creating a perfect marriage between hot and cold. Order it with caramel sauce if you want to be reminded of apple pie.

Haagen Dazs – multiple locations

10940502_906223049408217_8917942908588699083_n

This doesn’t need an introduction. Don’t bother with an ordinary scoop of ice cream here and go all out with their special creations, instead. Although their ice cream alone is surely delicious, their creations are sinful, indulgent and will make you swoon (and cry) every single time, without fail.

If you’re feeling a bit spendy and you’ve got company, order the Haagen Dazs fondue. Little ice cream balls dipped in hot Belgian chocolate? There isn’t anything that you wouldn’t love about that.

Cold Stone Creamery – multiple locations

20110718-coldstone-body-06 (1)

(Jessica Leibowitz)

The smell of their waffle cones is EVIL. It’s almost as evil as the smell of a Cinnabon, as both never fail to lure me in even if my stomach is full to the brim. As with Haagen Dazs, don’t bother to get a boring scoop of ice cream and go for their wonderful concoctions.

It’s hard to pick a favorite, because they entirely depend on your personal preference of flavors. But if none of the creations fully speak to you, you can always customize your own. Just get it in a waffle cone. ALWAYS!

McDonald’s – multiple locations

mcdonalds-Vanilla-Reduced-Fat-Ice-Cream-Cone

I thought I loved these just for the nostalgia factor, but they are simply addictive. And sometimes when you get an ice cream craving, it really is a Mcdonald’s soft serve craving in disguise and only your favorite childhood ice cream will satisfy it.

El Madina El Monawara – multiple locations

vanilla_ice_cream430x300

I don’t know if it’s because I’m from Heliopolis, but I feel like the Heliopolis branch’s flavors are better than other’s. Whatever branch is near you, El Madina will provide you with solid flavors and textures every time.

Make sure to try their honey, milk, strawberry and mango flavors. They’re all as good as it gets.

Sweet Center – Heliopolis

panini-press2

Sweet Center is one of those very Heliopolitan spots that, even if it doesn’t serve the best ice cream, chances are you will keep coming back to it if you’re from the area. Their nougat flavor is my absolute favorite and the textural differences in it is a true delight.

Also, make sure to try their ice cream sandwich, which is a scoop of ice cream sandwiched between a hot brioche with an optional slathering of Nutella. Eating it on one of the benches by their famous fountain is an absolute springtime delight. They also have the friendliest staff, which is always a bonus.

A Journey of Transparency Through the Land of McDonald’s

When talking about fast food giants, McDonald’s easily reigns supreme. Those two golden arches sign are so well-known that some toddlers can even recognize it even before they are able to utter the word ‘mama’.

McDonald’s has become the Beyoncé of the fast food world. They serve millions of people every day. From its humble beginnings in the 1940’s, the brand has now grown to be a multi-billion dollar company.

Success, fame and fortune are nothing new for McDonald’s. As if that wasn’t enough, the company decided to take things to the next level by being absolutely transparent with their customers. Basically, McDonald’s wants to become our best friend and let us in on all their secrets. Continuing in line with its open door program, they will be launching an all new campaign entitled “Your Right to Know.”

Setting a precedent for the food and beverage industry and willingly giving fast food a new repertoire, McDonald’s has answered all the questions that revolve around the brand and its food through its new platform.

Visitors who are wondering what goes into the famous Chicken McNuggets, how McDonald’s fries are prepared or whether McDonald’s uses halal beef and chicken, will now be able to find factual and transparent answers. ‘Your Right to Know’ will also serve as a truthful reference for customers who may have heard rumors or picked up unsubstantiated internet news about the iconic restaurant.

Most of us know that transparency is key to every business, particularly in today’s world, where people are demanding bigger, better and faster information. Thousands of people have already visited McDonald’s kitchens through their open door program and seen firsthand what the brand delivers to its people. That being said, McDonald’s was one of the first fast food giants in the world to talk about their nutritional informational openly through their communication.

Concerned parents can stop listening to rumors and rather, ask all the questions themselves. It’s an ingenious method for direct communication and open dialogue, putting everyone at ease and keeping the kids happy with all the happy meals their hearts desire!

WE SAID THIS: We’re definitely lovin’ this new campaign.

Gulf countries are blessed with some of the freshest seafood in the region. Expats from the Far East are a huge portion of our population, which makes sense why we have a huge variety of Asian restaurants.

As a Bahraini, I can personally assure you that sushi places in the Kingdom of Bahrain are exceptionally delicious. In this article, I’ve scoured my top picks of sushi spots that are actually worth your dinars.

SATO, Gulf Hotel Bahrain

Via timeoutbahrain

SATO is a luxury 5-star Japanese restaurant that everyone in Bahrain swears by. Their sashimi is a freakin’ must!

Bushido

Via Bushido

You don’t need to book a ticket to Japan when you can just go to Bushido. The traditional Japanese restaurant sports high chairs that’ll probably make you feel like you’re on top of the world while devouring raw fish.

Mirai

Via Mirai

Isn’t this the most Instagrammable tuna maki that you’ve ever seen in your life? Duuh!

Meisei

Via meiseirestaurants

What makes Meisei special is that it’s an award-winning Japanese restaurant. Why, you say? It has one of the most, if not the most, comprehensive menu in contemporary fusion. I would definitely recommend it if you’re into crazy new food combinations.

Sumo Sushi & Bento

Sumo Sushi & Bento is as authentic as it gets. It also stands out from the other places because of their affordable prices. They have branches all over the Gulf, not just Bahrain.

I Tried South African Food for the First Time, and This Is What Happened

$

0

Okay so, I love food. Like really love it. It is one of the main reasons why I wake up in the morning and withstand life’s slings and arrows of injustice. One of the best things about food is that there are so much of it; styles of cooking, herbs that will give the dish that extra #nomnom, and more importantly, cuisines. I love trying new food, which is why I was struck with joy when I stumbled upon Zulu, Egypt’s first South African restaurant.

Via Zulu

Situated in Maadi, Zulu came to exist by the help of Seandre Vetter and Alfons Alfons, Tipsy Teapot’s previous owners. Vetter, a skilled-cook from South Africa, found a gap in the food market and decided to fill it. I am glad she took that decision. Mind you, I didn’t know anything about South African food, which in a way was horrifying because I didn’t know what to expect, but that’s what made the following experience exciting.

Appetizers: Biltong

Via Food Network

Biltong is as South African as it gets. If you’re into beef jerky then this is definitely for you. If I had tried biltong in another set up – as a pub snack – then I may have liked it, but I’m not quite sure I will try it again.

Rating: 1.5/5

Main Course #1: Braai

Via Food Network

A braai is basically the South African version a barbecue. Vetter told me that South Africans take their braais very seriously: good wood, big hunks of meat, cooked properly over fire.

Everything on the braai plate was to die for. I could definitely see a potential of having this dish as my top hungover dish.

Rating: 5/5

Main Course #2: Bobotie

Via Food Network

Minced meat baked + an egg-based topping = a very simple dish that might seem bland, but it works somehow. This is a dish I can easily have as a comfort food.

Rating: 4/5

Dessert: Malva Pudding

Via Food Network

It was impossible to resist something that is as rich and gooey as the malva pudding. Think apricot jam, with a sponge-like cake, custard and ice-cream. YUM!

Rating: 4.5/5

WE SAID THIS: For more on Zulu, click here.

The One Café

If you’re after a classic breakfast head to The One’s stylish upstairs eatery and enjoy your morning meal in the ambient surroundings that it’s legendary for. You might not expect a store café to serve anything beyond sandwiches and soup but we’re sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised. They make a mean, big, fat fluffy omelette (which comes with toast) and you can choose from several fillings. Other options include eggs Benedict, home-made muesli and a classic big breakfast with all the trimmings.

Caffé Nero

Caffè Nero serves up premium Italian coffee in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu ranges from porridge, sandwiches and Panini’s as well as delicious pastries, cakes and biscuits. Good food and great service.

Tim Hortons

Via Instagram

This popular Canadian chain has opened its first store in Abu Dhabi. Choose from the addictive coffee and tasty snacks including toasties, breakfast wraps and hot and cold beverages. Tim Hortons was founded on the promise of making fresh, delicious coffee every time and you won’t be disappointed.

Paul

Via Facebook

Paul needs no introduction. We basically Paul branches everywhere all over the Middle East. We definitely recommend their pastries, cakes and sweet treats.

Denny’s

Via Facebook

Denny’s is a casual diner chain dishing up classic American comfort fare, including all-day breakfast. Opening Hours: Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Jones The Grocer

Via Facebook

The menu pulls out all the stops and has plenty of choices for you super-healthy types, serving up porridge, muesli and fruit salad. But those who don’t worry about terms such as ‘high cholesterol’ or ‘weight gain’ can enjoy a hearty breakfast instead.

Restaurateur Liza Asseily is now offering her upscale Middle Eastern cuisine in the city that inspired it. Her new outpost, called Liza Beirut, is set in the Lebanese capital’s stylish Achrafieh neighborhood, where it occupies the second floor of a 19th-century palace. Devised by designer Maria Ousseimi, the decor of the light-filled 5,400-square-foot space provides the same local zest as the food.

Salon Beyrouth is a distinct establishment in the heart of Clemenceau inspired by jazz era salons. The resto-bar offers an artful variety of food, whiskies and classic cocktails in a warm ambience, with service set to timeless standards. We all love pizza, because it has always been there for us through everything that life brings; from break-ups, to first dates, to slumber parties, to chill nights ins when we were too lazy to cook, pizza is not just a meal, pizza is an Italian comfort food that has become associated with our nearest and dearest memories.

It should be no surprise, therefore, that gourmet and ultra-pizzas are spreading through large metropolitan capitals like Cairo. VIDEO: Finding Lebanon in Brazil Through Mahshi

Via Grandmas Project

A Kickstarter campaign managed to raised $21,000 in 2016 and launched Grandmas Project, a simple web series of films shot by grandchildren that stars their grandmothers cooking food around the world.

Parienté’s grandma preparing molokheya

Last year, we wrote about Jonas Parienté, an Egyptian Jew living in France that remembered his homeland through his grandmother’s cooking; molokheya to be specific. This year, however, we’re going to talk about an entirely different — and delicious — story.

Mathias Mangin created Mehchi, a short film that takes place in São Paulo, Brazil where he interviews his 97-year-old Lebanese grandmother. The two of them prepare vine leaves (otherwise known as mehchi or mahshi), and talk about the role of Middle Eastern cuisine in her life.

“Although she cooks Lebanese food, for me, it’s the taste of Brazil,” says Mangin. Mehchi will truly warm your heart, and showcase how powerful food can actually be.

WE SAID THIS: Brb while we order some mahshi.

Foul Cart’s Owner Caught Washing Dishes in Filthy Cairo Canal Water

We’ve always known that Cairo’s street food is far from clean or healthy, but today marks the last day we ever go near a foul cart. Social media users find themselves horrified after the photo above went viral on Facebook. A man was caught washing his foul cart dishes using filthy water in Maryoteya’s canal.

Heba Khalifa explained that she was on her way to work, when she parked in Maryoteya’s Tersa intersection and was petrified by the scene. The foul cart worker started washing his plates in the dirty canal, then filled the same plates with foul for customers.

Via Faisal Al An

We’re not going to fool ourselves, we’ve seen dishes being dipped in dirty buckets to be cleaned, but we always told ourselves that the worst thing these buckets contain is food debris, but a ter3a? That is just a recipe for Hepatitis A, kidney and liver diseases.

WE SAID THIS: Farewell, food carts.

This Food Truck Park Opening in the UAE Is Straight out of a Post-Apocalyptic Movie

Human beings are complex creatures because almost all of us are different from one another. Some of us wear Crocs with a smile on our faces, others would rather hit themselves repeatedly with a hammer than be seeing in public wearing them. But if there’s anything that’s powerful enough to bring the entire human race together, it’s our love for food.

Via Last Exit MadX

Which is why Last Exit MadX, AKA the new food truck park concept in Al Khawaneej that’s bound to open on August 10th is the stuff of dreams, and we can’t wait to devour everything inside it.

Via Last Exit MadX

The purpose of the Mad Max-inspired food truck park is to allow hungry people driving in either direction from Dubai to Abu Dhabi to stop for a bite between destinations. Last Exist MadX features cars with machine guns, cars emerged into the grown, as well as Instagrammable picnic areas. But that’s not even the best part; it’s open 24/7.

WE SAID THIS: According to PopSugar, Pad Thai, Johnny Rockets, 800 Degrees Pizza, Gyros, Hot Chix, Burger Pit, Poco Loco, Jaldi Jaldi, Starbucks, The Stuffed Burger, BBQ on Wheels, Just For Kids, Bao Bun, Sushi Box, Dirty Dogs, and My Karak are going to be opening at the park.

The UAE is literally the land of all possibilities. Anything you dream of you will find, except for the one thing that brings the boys to our yards; the famous McDonald’s milkshakes. Our favorite fast food chain and guilty pleasure has announced that their glorious strawberry and chocolate Oreo shakes will be returning on August 12. The milkshakes were previously introduced for a short time last year and we can’t help but drool at the announcement.

Via McDonald’s

“We are constantly innovating to provide new experiences and products, and after listening to the wishes of our customers, we are extremely happy to announce that we are bringing back the milkshakes to our menu at all locations across the Emirates,” Walid Fakih, General Manager at McDonald’s UAE said.

One Oak Is in Sahel, and We Are Bidding Farewell to Our Summer Body Goals

We love to spend our summer days and nights by the beach in Sahel. I mean just thinking about the sun, the sand, and the parties is enough to make us wish that every weekend was a long weekend, one that we could spend in along the shorelines of Egypt’s North Coast.

Add to that the fact that our favorite sushi, steak, and burger spot -One Oak- is currently in Sahel, and we are seriously contemplating moving there for the entire summer. Yes, you read that write One Oak is in Sahel, with its full tripartite full-course menu glory, i.e. there is steak, sushi, and burgers.

Did we also mention the range of refreshing cocktails available at One Oak, Sahel? We mean given the humidity -uniquely found in Sahel this summer season- which one of us can truly say that he/she can’t use a One Oak-ian Berry Blend Smoothie or a Melon Shooter Cocktail?

Add to this summery drink of yours a perfectly grilled Rib-eye Steak, or a Vegas Burger, or a few pieces of delicious nigiri sushi alongside some Philadelphia Rolls (and many many more options), and what you have is a perfect summertime meal.

We say ‘perfect’ not just because of you having access to One Oak’s full menu; we say ‘perfect’ because One Oak Sahel is located in Hacienda Bay’s Lakeyard. This means that you will be dining with an artsy and incredibly Instagrammable view all around you.

Speaking of Instagrammable things, One Oak’s full dessert menu is also available at their Sahel’s branch, thereby ensuring that all our dreams of a summer body are just that: mere pipeline dreams. I mean if you do have the will power to resist One Oak’s steak, sushi, and/or burgers, you will surely not have that same will power when it comes to One Oak’s Red Velvet Cake, or their creamy Carrot Cake.

WE SAID THIS: Thank you One Oak,  for bringing your full menu to Sahel!

This Popular Soy Sauce Brand Is Getting Banned in the UAE

Kikkoman Soy Sauce is like the Beyoncé of all soy sauces. You can find this small bottle literally anywhere, from supermarkets to Asian restaurants to the kitchen cupboard. It has been dominating the soy sauce game ever since it has been introduced to the region, but unfortunately we will be saying goodbye to Kikkoman in the UAE.

Via Pinterest

The decision came after The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment reported that the Kikkoman Soy Sauce contains a percentage of alcohol that is higher than what is permissible in the UAE. *crying*

Laboratory tests have indeed confirmed the high percentage of alcohol. This resulted in the Food Safety Department of Dubai Municipality to ban the imported product from Japan for good.

WE SAID THIS: We hope they find a good replacement to the soy sauce soon.

This Dubai Restaurant Is Serving Up the ‘World’s Poshest Fish and Chips’

Egypt wouldn’t be the same without koshari, Jordan wouldn’t be the same without mansaf, and the United Kingdom sure as hell wouldn’t be the same without fish and chips. All of these aforementioned dishes are not just delicious, but they’re also quite cheap.

Via pierchic

You can easily get fish and chips anywhere in Britain for £5 — but Britain is not the topic of our discussion right now, Dubai is. Pierchic, one of the restaurants in the largest and most populous city in the United Arab Emirates is now serving up some fish and chips, and it’s not your usual cheap meal. On the contrary, it’s the exact opposite.

The dish costs AED270, AKA £57. Popsugar have dubbed it the poshest fish and chips in the world, and we can’t really blame them; in fact, we agree with them.

Via pierchic

You can have it at Pierchic anytime between the dates of August 20 to September 2. Customers will be able to enjoy a beer battered turbot, a fish that is only found in European waters. The chips, obviously, are no ordinary ones as they’re cooked by Chef Paolo using Maris Piper potatoes.

WE SAID THIS: Would you have dem fish and chips?
